Intelligent Scene Understanding from Object Detection in Industrial Environments


A vision-based perception system was developed and implemented in ROS to detect, segment, and track objects of interest in real time. A multi-view fusion algorithm was designed to reconstruct the 3D geometry of objects from depth-projected point clouds, enhancing occupancy SLAM maps with detailed object-level representations.
